Literally no need to minmax in this game. The top level BBI armor makes up for any stat deficiencies.
Just play the game howeer you want. There is literally no point to minmax in this game, you can start a hybrid cklass from level 10 and still be strong AF in physical and magic.

I played Sorcerer first time, but I always had this feeling that I maybe wasn't quite getting the true DD experience, you know?
Of climbing big monsters and stabbing them in the eye?
Wouldn't say Sorcerer made the game 'easy', but in the late game it's mostly about finding a spot in the middle of battle where you can safely stand still long enough to cast a spell.
I bought it when it was prereleased on steam but I pirated it anyway, and I've been playing this week. At first I was actually thinking that the game is mediocre JRPG spin on western RPGs type of game. Oh boy I was wrong. So wrong. This game is almost perfect in every aspect of gameplay, and filled with so much little details in game world or in gameplay mechanics.
I mean damn. Using the Ogres swing momentum to latch onto him and throw him of balance so he falls down, making him angry, rush you and then evading as he falls to his death from a big cliff. Little mobs don't like your lanterns light very much so they usualy stay at the edge of darkness until they attack and growl. AI routines are crazy good.
Being lost in the dark in the woods or in some dungeon that it's clearly over lvl-d for you is one of the most fucked up thing it can happen to you and it's so exciting. I love how the night is really really dark, and it's easy to get lost.(Im trying not to use map much for that 'lost' feeling)

As a Sorcerer all day erry day, since many BBI bosses are weak to Holy your best tool often becomes simply the charged homing attack with a Holy enchantment. It does way more damage than your spells against Daimon, Cursed Dragon etc. and so you don't need to worry about being sodomised during your cast-time.
Just need to keep popping those Demon Periapts.

I'm playing on my 3 year old laptop Dell5753 connected to Tv. Full details and 1080p. Usually stays over 50, sometimes drops to 40. I don't mind tho. Game is comfy as fuck, so I enjoy playing it from a couch and with gamepad.

It was hard for me until I hit grand soren, then I realized that the game does not scale the players level, and some areas are to hard for me.
Now your playstyle should be adjusted to that fact, be carefull always and don't rush the game. Paens can actually be pretty usefull in a big small mobs fight so it's your best bet to be around your PAWNS for that kind of fight, and disperse from them in a big enemy/boss fight. Take one healer mage pawn is a must, or be healer yourself. When figjting big enemies try to lure them on a terain where you have the advantige, around big rocks or in a foresst aroind trees so you can inhibit their movement and jump on them more easily, from the rocks or a cliff or something. Just use Ur brain, and try to act like you would in real life, enemies AI is really good, but actually you can exploit it to some degree to make your game easier.
