Also, the sonic/shadow levels are in a lot of ways better then in the 2d games since there's not many momentum stopping forced platforming segments (there are some, but if you are good you can use shortcuts built into the stages), and due to being in 3d you can actually fucking see ahead of you which in a game where you want to go fast is sorta fucking important.
