I'm replaying KOTOR1 after some years without replaying it and I find Taris more enjoyable than I remeber. Why people hate it so much? Peragus + Telos are by far worse.

Telos is shit sure but Pergaus ain't too bad. The mystery behind it and the atmosphere is stellar. But I literally just got done replaying KOTOR1 again and Taris is just SO fucking long, I think maybe the longest planet in the entire game. Worse the first time when there's little to no sense of direction

Jesus, did you even pay attention to the story. She disliked the Sith and Jedi, essentially calling both useless. Sith use their power for strictly their own gain, in the long run benefiting no one. the Jedi are passive who are afraid to use their power or have an opinion on something worried how they may use their powers.

She's actually a pretty great character. She's filled with regret over not following your path, she's hidden away for years and slowly gone mad, she's responsible for the Jedi being wiped out, she led to the Sith to you and started the events of the game by luring you back to the Republic on the Harbinger, taunts you by not giving you back your lightsaber etc.
The sexual tension aspect as a guy is even more awesome. She seriously wants your dick and hates you for it.
