PS3 had a similar problem with original models. The thermal paste was not applied properly, which is what causes the ylod if the paste stops working.
Xbone really took drastic measures to ensure it could not possible happen. Huge airflow inside, tons of vents, massive internal fan, external power brick. Better safe then sorry, plus the system is superlatively whisper quite, unlike the 360 when losing from discs.

Have a 360 which I used a lot for about 4 or 5 years, only slightly annoying thing was that it really was notably louder than any other console I had, but every game always ran, I never had any sort of crash and never that RROD bullshit either.
