A very rough, non-specific guide would be:
>downgrade to 9.2
>install EmuNAND
>run CFW off EmuNAND
>install CIAs on your EmuNAND and play shit from the internal SD card
>throw 3DS flash card away
>purchase NDS flash card and load it with NDS games to extend your portable library

I upgraded to CFW a couple of days ago, but I somehow ballsed the process up and had to do browserhax every time to boot into CFW. L button stopped working to take me to CFW, and I couldn't set it up to coldboot into CFW.
Just went back to 10.3 because I only play MH4U anyway

You fucking idiot.... you're virtually emulating the entire OS of the 3DS, which means you can freely upgrade that to the latest 10.3 nintendo firmware. It's why they call it a emuNAND. The emu stands for emulate.

As I said, my L button wouldn't boot me into emuNAND or CFW anymore. I went into menuhax manager and tried to change the button for launch, as the guides stated. I held down X on Type 2, touched the touchscreen, and then every time I booted my 3DS, it wouldn't coldboot into CFW, it would go into sysNAND.
I held X, nothing happened. I held L, nothing happened. I changed it all back to default on menuhax manager, and nothing happened. Holding L still put me into sysNAND.
I then realised I didn't really care for any other game but MH4U, and that I'm content without CFW.

I don't regret buying a Sky3DS. Back when I got my N3DS it was practically the only option and it kept me going for a few months. I regret getting a Gateway though since that ended up being easily replaceable fairly quick.
