It's had a more powerful GPU so it will often have a 5-7fps lead over the ps3 or better visual quality than the ps3.

You'll own one for the games you know you love and then you don't have to rebuy the hardware to try games you aren't familiar with.

Compare any ps360, pswii multiplat or ps3 port of wii60 games. The ps3 versions always sold better because that's where the real fans were. It's not intangible, it was proven time and again as nintendo and ms paid for developers to avoid the ps3.

Exclusivity keeps you from reaching your audience if they're on the wrong platform. A vita exclusive game like tokyo xanadu doesn't hurt falcom because their audience is on vita. Falcom will keep supporting the platform and comparable games have already been released and will keep being released on vita. If you bought a wiiu for xenoblade, that won't bring any new jrpg developers to the platform. It's a one time purchase unless monolith makes another game soon.
