For some reason I simply can't get into mainline final fantasy despite giving several games a chance and really enjoying dragon quest. However I love all the spinoffs. I've played crystal chronicles a ton, the tactics series a ton, theatrhythm a decent amount. The only "actual" FF I've really liked is XI and even then it's an mmo.
