But isn't it great that he's a character who beat the fuck out of his wife and the game allows you to do the typical white knight response but also lets you hear him out? Fuck man, stop reminding me how I can't play Witcher. I have about 40 hours in it, and over time I was getting this freezing issue, where the game itself would stop, the music would still play, and then the game would resume. At first it only happened maybe once every hour, but the more I played, the more frequent it got, and now I'm in Novigraad and it's every 5 minutes. I tried looking up solutions, and can't find shit. All the fixes people posted, putting FPS to unlimited, detaching second monitor, changing it from borderless windowed to fullscreen, turning off VSync, didn't work. Underclocking my video card works, but then my frame rate turns to shit, and goes frequently under 20FPS.
I loved Witcher 1/2, and fucking loved what I played of 3 so far, so it's breaking my fucking heart I can't get this to work.

The Baron was by no means a good guy, but he entered the moral grey area of being a character that is relateable. He shouldn't have acted out the way he did, but I guarantee that a lot of us would under that stress, and that's the point they get across. Men are not created, men are made. Some of his wife's shitty actions helped create his shitty streak, and they both paid one of the dearest prices. It also shows that their daughter is the exact same degree of fucked up and will probably pay in the same way in her future.
