I played it for about 20 hours, then lost complete interest. Some of the characters are fine but the entire MOBA genre is fucking stagnant. Like after 4 years of LoL, 2 of Dota 2 and about 2 weeks of HotS, I'm entirely fucking done with those games.

In terms of difficulty:
HotS: Stay alive and fulfill the map specific objectives. This is the easiest of the three to play.
LoL & DotA: Stay alive while accumulating gold and purchasing items while also assisting your team and killing enemy heroes. Push all the way into the enemy's base and destroy the objective building to win.
Mobas are all about learning to play specific heroes, Anon. Did you play Warcraft 3? Remember how each race had like 4 heroes to choose from? A Moba is that, but minus the base and army management aspect.

When will the MOBA meme finally end?
I've played over 12,000 games of LoL and over 2,500 hours of Dota since 2009. I play Heroes as a retirement game after not touching mobas since 2013.
HotS is ok, it cuts out a lot of the depth sure, but it allows easier more fun games. Seriously fighting with 0/18/0 Viegars or getting fountain camped in Dota is horrible and Heroes doesn't really allow this horrible games to exist because how the events and towers/ammunition works.
It's a good retirement game where you still get the assfaggots itch, but don't want to deal with all the bullshit that is dumbasses getting your courier killed or your team going all carrys.
Yes, it's casual, but it's fun. Which is all I ask of my video gamessometimes.
