IIRC She was such a bitch that the other girls in her class performed a spell to send her to hell. The spell worked and killed everyone involved. She wakes up in hell, forced to traverse dangerous hallways, being chased by demons and when she dies she is instantly reborne and force to start over. In the end she becomes the new lord of hell(?) and can only be freed when another person performs the spell. Keep in mind that time in hell is longer than time on earth and by the end she's only been dead for a few minutes.

Also Bioshock 2 had a pretty depressing ending, depending on how you played. RDR's ending is depressing if you choose to kill the guy who betrayed Marston, since it renders his sacrifice pointless.
Radiata Stories, for it's comical apparances and humor it played the Humans versus Non-Humans tension very high and the endings were both pretty damn bleak all things considered, Human's more or less worse considering it all ends well for everyone except Jack.

I think theaccompliceending was pretty fucking cool in P4G. The case is getting closer and closer to being solved and then suddenly everything stops and you just betray your friends. And when Narukami is leaving Inaba his friends are totally bummed out that they couldn't solve the case and the fog is still everywhere. And that moment when he is on the train and Adachi is on the tracks (pic related). I wish it was cannon
