Rainbow Six Siege was easily the best release of last year if you can ignore minor fixable bugs and some netcode issues that they're basically fixing already (tick rate, etc)

They already have fucked it up. It's just Destiny as a third person cover shooter. The whole game is a pseudo-MMO with no story and focused on loot grind put in Ubisoft's standard copy and paste "open world". It even has a hub area like the Tower in Destiny filled with various vendor NPC's that serve no other purpose. Cheap ripoff.

If you removed the 1-2 minute loading times Destiny has constantly, it might be pretty bearable. Destiny also suffered from having to be on PS3/360, which is why there is a billion instanced zones on planets and you never find anyone while out on the planet.
Also its not as pseudo-mmo as Destiny. If you don't invite players into your world, you won't meet anyone else outside of the Dark Zone and the HUB. In Destiny you could just randomly see people doing shit on the planet if you were lucky. In this, if you don't invite them or do matchmaking for missions/activities, you won't find anyone in your world.

You can play the whole game single player according to Ubi, but the game is always-online.
Co-op is just co-op, you can do anything in co-op drop in drop out.
Dark Zone is kill on sight, there is not going to be any teaming up or anything with strangers
Something neat is that you don't need to call your own chopper. You can wait for other people to call in a chopper and swoop in and kill them and extract on theirs. The only thing that matters when extracting is whose loot is tied to the copter, up to a max of 4 people extracting loot.
