I loved the hell out of TW1. I completed literally every quest in the game, and even played all the free postgame mini-DLCs released by CDPR. Loved every second of it.
TW2 was a much different game, but I thought it was better. It was shorter and more action-packed, sure, but it was a nice change of pace after TW1. I loved it too. Played through it twice, to see both paths.

The story was pretty weak in Mass Effect 2, to be honest (although it was probably my favorite Mass Effect game due to the sheer amount of content). Mass Effect 1 had a great story (probably arguably the best of any of the Mass Effect games), and Mass Effect 3 was amazing in its own right. What made Mass Effect 3's story so great is you're finally taking it to these Reaper assholes that have been terrorizing Earth.
Mass Effect 2 was just your typical "build a team to save the world" plot that we've seen done over a million times. The only thing that makes Mass Effect 2 a great game is the sheer amount of content the game now has after nickel and diming people to death on DLC.
I would love to go back and play Mass Effect 1 again because it has been so long since I've played it that I've forgotten a good portion of the story (although I can still recall the climaxing parts of the story like I just played it yesterday). But the thing is, after the technical advancements in Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3, any time I try to go back and play Mass Effect 1 I just can't stomach myself to play it anymore. The overall game lacks the fluidity they finally found with Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3.
I would totally replay Mass Effect 1 though if they remastered it on Unreal Engine 4 (or hell even Unreal Engine 3.5).
Those overland missions. Those God damned overland missions. I'm so glad they got rid of that with Mass Effect 2 and kept them out of the game.

I loved 4, but it was just a nostalgia trip that unnecessarily "ended" the story. Metal Gear was the last game series I ever expected to actually have an ending, given it's fairly ambiguous nature, but 4 kept that nature AND tied most things up. Albeit pretty badly, but tied up nonetheless.
