My only fighting game before this was P4A, and I haven't gotten gud enough with this game and new type of character to enter the scene. My usual sparring partner's toaster can't handle the game, so learning the ins and outs of this game one step at a time is much harder when online play is just a bunch of waiting, so I can get wrecked by 50% comboes that throw me into the corner, and all I got is around 120-150s.
I know I just have to invest the time to learn more, but it's hard to want to put so much of my little free time on it without another bro with similar skill level to improve together with.
I think Slayer is a pretty cool guy though.

IAD is really simple on pad, all you do is hit 96 really fast. if you're giving yourself blisters you're doing it completely wrong. TK I can understand though. just remember that when you play on stick you're making big movements with your wrist instead of small movements with your fingers and try not to give up just because you struggle with it at first.

Sparrowhawk is mainly fullscreen oki tool and it doesn't work on Bed, his 2P is too strong.
There's that magical flower with xboxhuge hitbox you can do, mix it up with A/A' and here's your approach.
In all honesty it just sounds like you still don't feel familiar with your character movement and zoning options. Be creative, use Task C YRC like Anji's superjump for example

For his normals, throw a projectile or replays so that he doesn't press buttons. 5ping will get you CH'ed probably.
You can air tech if you have meter, but he can air grab as well. Also many axl's go for air resets with 2s or 6K which give big damage. Ideally, mix between actually techning and not teching to keep them guessing.
