The weapons are pretty much side-steps from each other. Nothing is really OP. The Splattershot Jr that you start the game with is perfectly viable

Netcode doesn't remove response time. There will always be a delay between players and no magical netcode in the world will fix that. A european and a japanese going against each other will always be delayed and unresponsive even if they both sit on a gigabyte connection. In a compettive shooter game anything above 100ms is unacceptable

Why not just say top scoring then? Fragging is a pretty old term and relates specifically to the number of kills you make.
Calling it fragging just made it seem like you were trying to brag abaout K/D ratio in a game that's main focus is actually covering the most ground with your teams colour.
Also, because of the colour-point mechanic it manes that there aren't really any OP weapons. Each weapon combo tends to be just as viable as the other and a new player can easily get high scores by doing shit like staying behind to cover their entire base while the other 3 run off into a firefight.
Players you're matched with are probably bad because you just got the game and are thrown in with all the other newbies. Keep playing and you'll end up against more skilled opponents.

I can't be the only one experiencing it cause it is objectively true that you cannot have a perfect experience when you are putting everyone in the world against each other. Those extra milliseconds are huge in a skillbased shooter game. Movements will always be off and things will feel like they killed you out of nowhere. Maybe I am pickier than most other people but it is hampering my experience, not by much but enough to bring up.

You know sitting on the splatzones isn't a very sound strategy either. Advancing takes turf which slows them down significantly more than sitting on point waiting for them to just cover it. Now there's only a certian point you should advance to depending on the map, but it's better than sitting on your ass waiting for them to get back to you.
The worst are people who think defending the splatzone means literally standing on the splatzone. You are a bomb, when you die you explode in enemy ink. Dying on point means you are literally giving them the point.

I never understood this attitude, it is definitely is about kills. Sure, the objective is to paint the floor, but what fucking good is it if you don't also stop the enemy team from doing it?

How much better can the game reasonably sell? I'm pretty sure over 1 million copies of the game were sold in Japan alone, and at least 3 millions were sold worldwide. On a system with an install base of under 11 million, that's an extraordinary attach rate for a new IP.
