If you are both the same class and you do something a lot like use a certain attack/skill a lot they will tend to use that attack/skill a lot too. If you are any class and you pick up or climb enemies and pick up items, Pawns will tend to do these things. It gets so bad that you Mage Pawns climbing Chimeras and Cyclops when they should stay away casting magic, luckily you can tweak their behaviors so they dont do climbing as often.

An overclocked 2500k can still run modern games really well. I've had mine for 5 years, and haven't had a reason to upgrade yet.
It likes to drop to around 40-30FPS on a FX 6300 and R9 270

I prefer to have a pre-determined role in my head when I play. Depending on your class, you reap certain benefits when you level up. So for example if you were a mage, when you level up you gain +2 magic attack, whereas if you level up as a warrior, you gain +1 magic attack.

No, don't just pick classes randomly.
If you're going to use your sword/mace a lot as a MK, bump strength.
If you're going to use Great Cannon as you should, play sorcerer as much as possible. Well, not that much, you should have between 500-750 mgk. You could pick MK once you feel you have enough, or play Assassin or whatever to get some atk.
For example you could go Strider 10 > Sorcerer 50, MK 100 > whatever you're lacking until 200 and then replay MK. That way you get to enjoy MK while playing the game, and don't end up with a shitty build in the end.
