Sup /v/, made a few threads about this the past few days, figured i'd update people on it incase anyone was interested.
I bought pic related (JXDs7800B) to emulate shit on the go. It runs great but has a few issues that have come to light.
Cons first
>stock firmware is shit, I reflashed to a custom 4.4 android
>The charger is a possible death trap, had to buy another one
>I'm worried about battery quality, thinking about replacing it but i'd need to remove it from the board and solder a new one on
>battery life is ok, 5 hours PSone emulation
>sticks could be better..
>The wifi sucks ass even with the firmware update
Pros
>emulates everything I throw at it, so far I tried PS1, PSP, Dreamcast (crazy taxi full speed) N64 (mario full speed) Nes, SNES, Neo Geo, Megadrive/Genesis
>Amazing screen
>Great D-pad and buttons, sticks usable
>16gb internal memory (11gb usable with flash
>upto 64gn external memory supported..
>HDMI port
Overall it's great but I am really concerned about the cheap chinese battery blowing up. The build quality is decent and the screen/sound really is great for something I paid £90 for.
Any questions? Also general emulation thread, wha'cha emulat'n motherfuckers?
