There should be a hidden path to Temmie's town somewhere in that waterfall area. It costs a lot of gold, but price decreases every time you die. It's a bit of a gamebreaker, so only use it if you really can't progress past a boss or something.

Technically, you always end up on the normal route regardless of pacifism the first time you go for the pacifist route. Its just that you get to immediately reload and get on the REAL pacifist route where ASS GORE doesn't get fucked by the flower.
