If you're interested, hop over to EVE Online General on /vg/ and ask for a trial, they'll give you a better trial than what you get on your own and if they're not an asshole you'll get some good starting money

I remember my first solo roam into low sec in just a frig but with all T2 fittings.
Ran into another frig and solo'd him and his buddy cruiser he came flying in with.
Gave me such a rush and it got me promoted in my corp to Lt.

What kind of game are you looking for, OP? If you want solo and small gang PvP you could try Faction Warfare. There're mechanics in place that stop bigger ships from coming along and squashing you, although you will have to face faggots in overpowered pirate and navy frigates.

Well to "change race ships" you'd have to train that racial ship skill and the appropriate gun or weapon system that goes with it
So if I went from gallente to Caldari, thats pretty easy since Caldari and Gallente share weapon systems, so if you have the gun skill trained already you're good to go
but if you say, go from amarr to minmatar, you have to train the minmatar racial ship skills and then you'd have to train projectile weapon systems.
