Mgs4 had good gameplay and it solved the problem of mgs3s constant pausing to switch cam by adding mobile cam switch with the octocamo.
It also had good guns and a hefty amount of easter eggs and unlockables.
Mgs4s biggest issue was that kojima tried to fucking explain everything that was supernatural with nanomachines rather than just leaving it as is.
I liked it too but I still think the first 3 are better than it.
