So I bought a PS4 over the holidays, the Uncharted bundle in particular.
Is the Uncharted series honestly considered good? I'm 20% of the way through the first one and the game has literally no redeeming quality. The combat is generic thirdpersoncoversystem mundanity, the platforming has no depth and takes no skill whatsoever, the puzzles aren't puzzles at all since the game gives you the answer, and the writing varies from terrible to just okay.
What exactly is the point of this game? I remember that commercial for the second one rubbed me the wrong way (where the dude's gf thinks it's a hollywood movie, which is a fucking terrible thing for a game to aspire to be). Does the series get better? Do they add something in the next two games? Why do people like this shit?

But looking at that list it still doesn't look very impresive if you compare it to PC, now that all those Xbox one exclusives are coming to it. That's why I said that the PS4 is only the if mainly like Japanese games otherwise xbone or PC have better exclusives (PC also gets a lot of Japanese games on steam so it's basically the best of both worlds)..

PC has no exclusive games outside of F2P/MOBA shit which even the people whom play it don't consider them actual games.
Every PC game can and will most likely come to console because there is no platform holder who invest in software just for the PC platform because it is fruitless endeavour, this is why games that would never, ever see the light of day on consoles 10 years ago like Divinity Original Sin are now on consoles. The opposite is true for the likes of PlayStation and Nintendo both companies invest in creating unique content from teams curated from the ground up before most people on /v/ were even born because that it is profitable and because they want to create value for a customer. I admit PC will get timed exclusives now and then like X-Com 2 and Tumblrtale but they will also come to console or will have an infinite chance of coming to console, and the opposite is true for Bloodborne, Infamous, LittleBigPlanet, etc. So naturally the defense mechanism a PC user exhibits is THOSE GAMES ARE SHIT ANYWAY, because he is most likely an underage redditer who lives in his mums basement on the PC he bought her.
