Uh, I'd say the dress sphere mechanic of changing jobs on the fly mid battle is pretty different from the sphere grid basic 3 person party play of FFX.

Yeah it is, for the first several hours. When the story opens up it gets pretty decent. I would hardly call the power struggle between the Youth Leauge and New Yevon over weapon of mass destruction silly.
