Did Ubisoft fire all the smart devs from the AC teams? i mean, it's almost like even the writers themselves forgot what the pieces of eden were to begin with.
From AC to AC3 the pieces of eden are described as artifacts that manipulate certain parts of the human brain to cause illusions and be controlled by the user of the fruit, but in Unity and Syndicate they are power sources that shoot laser beams and explode.
Can someone explain this bullshit?

they shouldnt have gone with a maguffin to connect every game, it should just have been templars vs assassins and games to give both perspective in various historical locations.

Actually in Brotherhood the piece of Eden could kill too. So that shit happened a lot sooner than Unity. It depends on the user. Ezio could use the apple but only in short burst. Altair was crazy powerful and could use the apple all he wanted.

Assassins Creed 2 trilogy was great, there were parts that didn't make any sense but still it was pretty fucking good, everything after Ezio's story is just complete garbage, they even started Ass Creed 3 with the fucking Mayan 12/21/12 end of the world shit that everyone was talking about. That was a clear indicator that the writers are either idiots or completely controlled by corporate faggots and also the end of the franchise.

Revelations was clearly a stop gap which was all the more obvious when you hear that it started out as a 3DS only game. III was where the series totally ruined the modern day storyline stuff. After the end of II and Brotherhood, it felt like it was gonna end spectacularly but they fucked it up. And they still keep forcing it even though I don't care anymore and I just want to parkour through the Carribean or Paris and stab guys.

I love Ezio but so many assassins deserve so much more development. AC really needs a tv series. Like the 1st season would be AC1, 2nd season would be AC2. Just something that can give the characters a lot of focus.

It's getting a movie instead. About an assassin that wasn't in any of the games. But it's set within the video game universe.
However it might not be bad for a video game movie. The cast is pretty good and it's directed by the guy who did Snowtown and that recent Macbeth film.
