Meant to add, play on PC. I feel like it's probably faring better on PC, not to mention the most recent PC update changed the server tick rate to 60 rather than the abysmal 30 it was at on launch, and still is on consoles from what I understand.

I haven't really been able to get any matches on ranked, and I usually play with 2 or 3 friends, but we can always get into a casual match within a minute or so.

It's not a bad game by any means, but don't go into it expecting Rainbow 6.

~16,000 people on PC right now, and that's not including people that play strictly through Uplay. So it's pretty far from dead. I would certainly be fine paying $60 from it because it's a type of game I really enjoy, but a lot of people argue there isn't a lot of content. Also the servers are still kinda shitty. Just don't play ranked. Connectivity issues, exploits, and hackers ruin ranked. Casual is fine to play though and lots of fun with friends.
