Even though I like the Vita storefront it has some major problems like not being able to view a game specifically and then the DLC from it, and not being able to batch download stuff from your download list. Having to go one by one for some games like LBP and Senran Kagura is so irritating and takes like five minutes.

A friend lent me a Vita with the 2 games I wanted to play the most and after 5 hours it's safe to say that it's shit.

First is Gravity Rush. First of all, the game is pretty much a showcase of the Vita's gimmicks, with even doing something as simple as dodging requires you to swipe the screen. Being in gravity mode shows how terrible the sticks are, and I had the gyro go fucking crazy, which is something that never happened to me with other gyro controls. The game is full to the brim with constant tutorials that stop you on your tracks to teach you things that you already did, worse than Skyward Sword. Enemies are all the same, so combat becomes extremely repetitive.
And then there's Persona 4 Golden. Unbearable dub, boring characters, archaic combat,unbearable music, time limits, and little to no fucking interaction with the fucking GAME
I have both and I'm happy with both, tho I tend to favor my vita more because of all the cool stuff it can do like remote play.
I got DOAX3 and cyber sleuth coming in February, then project diva x and Odin sphere whenever those come out.

You obviously went into the game with a bias against the vita, admit it, and I am actually glad you didn't enjoy it and let non problems destroy your experience. I'm not sure why you are even complaining about actually having proper dual anaolouge sticks as well. The gyro is also another non-problem and didn't effect my experience of the game. Yes the combat could be better but it's forgiven considering the type of gameplay the game is aiming for. The part about tutorials is also complete nonsense.

I bought the 3DS for Pokemon, played and enjoyed all the Pokemon 3DS titles excluding spin offs and have tried to venture into the library to justify the system but I can't.
I don't know what it is about the 3DS and it's game, I just can't into them, it feels like this device was made for somebody much younger. The games just fail to engage me. Nintendo caught my nostalgia bucks though that's for sure.

If there's a version out there that runs at twice the framerate, then it's an issue. And framedrops, specially on a 30 fps game, is an issue.

The controls are more or less the same though on the PS4 ver, you just have more control over what you're doing because the sticks on the DS4 allow for more accurate input I guess. The game is superior on the PS4 full stop though because it has a graphical upgrade and looks amazing.
If you have a vita, try another game/genreperhaps an ARPG like tales of hearts r, try disco games like superbeat xonic vns: steins gate, corpse party adn daganronpa. The vita like the 3ds dose niche stuff well, don't just dwell on 3d action games or the big names.
