Yes it's an obscene amount of content for 60$, more than you'd get from 99% of games. And it's a little niche but most people think it's fun.

Woke up at six this morning and have been grinding non-stop until now. I find it fun for the combat and looking for ways to utilize damage. Some few select characters can be annoying but it's just their character. Land is alright but I personally find myself looking at my mini map and getting to the next probe sight rather than exploring (probe sight being you go to this area and put down a fast travel that can give you minerals/money)

I beat the main storyline in less than 80 hours, I'm level 53 and don't know what to do now, every time I start up the game I just turn it off because I feel like I'm done with it, like it has no more rewards to offer.

Definitely worth $60. Content is insane, but the story lacks closure. It's to be expected when they introduce an entire new world and they focus on a few things at best. First game had everything covered, but stuff remains a mystery here and doesn't quite add up if you think about a few things. Even then, it's a very fresh game in which you'll find yourself doing lots of stuff before going on with the story, easily making beating the game 50-100 hours. I do suggest trying to get all the probes/get some decent survery% before using skells.

I beat the game at 80 hours. Mainly because I wasn't sure if my skells would be fine at the final boss. It would include grinding and get a lv.50 skell...but I got neither when I beat the game. Had just done some extra exploring and quests. For now, I'm just going up on getting the survey rates up. Looking for treasures and tyrants I can kill. A little bit sick of doing lots of quests and gather collectibles. Hoping to get enough free reward tickets for the Ares 90. Also, getting your probes up will work aswell. I got most of them on foot except just half of them like that on cauldros. Was fun looking. 100 hours in now...still havent hit 60. Also bringing along randoms for affinity.

Holy shit this, it improved asset loadtimes byaybe 3-5 seconds on average. Considering that it was originally 20-30 seconds, the data packs are useless. You'd think the packs would help with the whole "my Wii U is a fax machine" issue but nope, nothing.

It'd take forever to kill the Ch. 10 boss and Vita without it.
Combat sucks. I hate Soul Voices. You can't play defensively at all, every fight is just a DPS check. TP generation is too low and doesn't feel balanced. Unless you give your moronic party members no TP arts or have Irina be a TP bot with ramjet, they will never revive you. Combat just feels like both you and the enemy are just attacking air.
Game has problems but it kept my attention for the 80 hours it took me to beat the story.
That's way more than I can say about most games.
The pacing is pretty great until you learn to fly. It seems like there's always something around the corner to work towards that you're looking forward to unlock.
