But once you were on a continent, that was it. No loading screens. You can go from Silithus to Winterspring without encountering one loading screen.

You can try Nostalrius, It's not an accurate representation of vanilla wow but it's the best there ever was, not sure how it is nowadays but it had 7-8k people online at peak hours and lots of cool people, and for god's sake don't even bother with retail.

No it's not the same, it's the best scripted server out but the pop is too low to be considered wow-like. You could try nost but the pop there is far too big and the scripting is sub-par. ( bugged quests, NPC's not using skills like they should, over buffing mobs in instances to make up for it etc )

while I only started during late TBC I tried numerous vanilla servers
yes it is an awesome experience but only because I already had a ground to base it on and wasnt completely new to WoW
while servers like Emerald Dream (RIP) were buggy and stuff you still got the core experience of vanilla WoW and it was nice
nost was the same during the first weeks however now that the server has 10k pop, gold farming chinese and "DINDUNUFFIN" niggers camping lvl 20 contested zones with groups of 10+ lvl60s the game is shit for somebody who never played WoW

I shifted between both sides frequently from Classic to MoP. What I noticed over the years was that the majority of Horde players were better than the majority of Alliance players, but the top tier Alliance players were a lot better than the Horde's top players. Alliance players usually had much more patience while the Horde players had much more tenacity. The Horde usually had a much bigger population though, so they had more top players available to them.
