Why are small maps the best for multiplayer shooters?

Because fast pace, only really fun if playing eaplit screen otherwise it's sorely boring because of the lack of variety in the weapons and tactics you can use

Because jackasses are forced into short/medium range weaponry instead of finding a hill to camp out on with a sniper rifle. Tight corners and space lead to stuff like good flash/stuns making for clean kills.
