No get a bigger screen nigga, the larger the resolution you play at the less jaggies there are, jaggies only exist because there aren't enough pixels to make it look smooth.

The higher resolution has the trade off of performance. Even then, it's not like I can play Bayonneta for example in native 4K.

CRT will handle non-native resolution way better than LCD - but you won't magically get flawless hardware antialiasing. In native res, you'll still have same rectangular pixels as on LCD.

It's because they aren't 720 or 1080p they are their respective standard at the time.
CRT don't hide it. They just are at the native res for it at the time. Everything looks best when it's native res, regardless of resolution in question.
I prefer native res even to downscaling.
