When they remade the games on the gamecube they worked perfectly but somehow when they came over to Steam and Xbox and all that, they got fucked. I think they tried to patch the games and they just made it worse
One instance I noticed is that they fixed that glitch in 2 where you could homing attack repeatedly in the Chao Garden to get under the level, but they've made it so the homing attack in general doesn't lock on as well.
