As far as streaming goes:Do whatever you feel like, as a suggestion, don't do facecam every steam, keep it to a minimal.
Having a place to donate too like a twitchalerts isn't a bad thing in and of itself, just don't whore it out and you'll be fine.
As for mics, snowballs are always a safe one, just get a pop filter if you're worried about background noise.
Steamers that have mics, for people just looking for someone new to watch, their mindset is they first come for the game, so play a game that's newly released, or even play a game with a cult following, point is someone somewhere is looking for someone to play their favorite game. If you can generate an audience that is "Come for you, stay for the game", you'll be set on Twitch.
Hitbox is good too, but Twitch has the bigger audience.
