I played Skyrim yesterday
I remember play this one shitty GBA game called Riviera or something way back in the day. Only the MC was male and you pretty much got to choose which chick in he harem you wanted to have an ending with.
Depends on the context.
In real life, a guy whose paired up with a bunch girls is a guy whose probably a wuss or reject.
In video games, a guy whose paired up with a bunch of girls is a guy who has enough skill to be with the best team which just so happens to be all female.

The only one I even remember is a game made by ONEONE1 where you play as the female hero from Dragon Quest 3. She actually has to be fucked by her companions in battle to use some techniques.
