Make sense? Eh, I can't really say she would. She's not really close enough to Mario, only other characters to jump that gap are DK characters that are either really popular or when they were in desperate need of filler, and even they were left out of MK8.

Fucking good, Waluigi was already a stretch and he hasn't even been useful for anything regarding mainline Mario. He just fucking appeared out of nowhere. Boshi is just one one-shot Wa variation of Yoshi.
As for now, whoever is Peach's Wa variation, probably either Cpt. Syrup or Mona. But Syrup feels more like a female variation of Wario. Then again, she was referred to as a princess once in Shake It!. Mona is there because I recall something from Nintendo way back on her being essentially Wario's Peach. And if she's Wario's Peach... Yeah, you can figure it out from here. She just differs from Peach in the way that she's really just a more normal girl with no royal position like the rest of them which does a multitude of things. If you think about it, if Peach didn't had the whole royal responsibility, she'd probably act pretty much like Mona.
Daisy's too unimportant to even have a Wa variation, she's already Peach's Luigi.
Rosalina just so happens to be the universe's only barely important figure due to her god/creator role of the same, so she's kind of separate and not really all that connected between them.
Wario Ware games have a lot more characters and originality than Mario games.
