Infinite's praise was obviously bought and temporary just to shill season passes. TLoU was popular enough to rerelease two more times within one year and is still held up as some pinnacle of game design.
Why the fuck Naughty Dog gets hailed for innovation when it's still using the Uncharted 1 engine from nearly a motherfucking decade ago I will never know, but that's a whole different thing.
