It can be about other parts of the game play experience too. I am currently playing super ghosts n goblins interchangeably with shovel knight. Graphics are kinda similar, but fluidity of video, controls, sound, physics ...all these other parts of the game are way better in shovel knight.

You also gotta remember it's also the modern team at the same time, which means they'll most definitely "modernize it" somehow in some way that'll ruin it for us and "mainstream it" for the modern COD wiggers.

old graphics are not problem to me. the real problem is old gameplay. i directly ragequit after that cluncky gameplay system. gothic 1&2 are good examples of this.
