I know he made his own custom sprite for mechs sonic this time around. It's a shame cause it's not bad but the old design was so slick and imposing. Especially with Cooler's voice clips.

He went with an original design that incorporates elements of the various robot Sonics, instead of just using S3&K's Mecha Sonic. Which makes a lot more sense, considering Mecha in SMBZ is a mashup of the robot Sonics Metal Sonic formed into when he fused himself with them.

He's doing some parts differently. Not sure about if he's completely cutting the Yoshi's Island pat or simply doing it differently, though. The one confirmed cut is Basilisx, he's not going to be in the reboot.

I liked him because he was a product of Eggman doing his roboticization thing on a Mushroom Kingdom resident. That mad scientist won't let a piffy thing like his entire world being blown to atoms stop him from affronting nature and life itself.
