They're literally the easiest boss in the DLC. Only DLC boss I solo'd at level 43.
Use your gun a lot. They are very easy to parry. When they start the meteor shower just stay behind the tree while keeping the door you entered from to your right. Make sure to have that healing when viceroy attacking rune. It took me 10+ tries till I figured it put D:

When will I get my hands on an arcane bloodgem? I'm trying out an arcane/skill build with the Blades of Mercy. I'm in Hemwick Charnel Lane (haven't beaten BSB, Amelia or Witches yet) and I was hoping an arcane scaling gem would help me out against those brick guys and the executions who really love to eat damage and not get staggered.

I thought it'd be more powerful with an arcane gem equipped, and since I can't use fire/bolt paper I thought it'd be a good idea to have it elementally charged. Is the split scaling enough when I'm putting more points into arcane than I am into skill?

Would anyone around level 100 be willing to help me with Shadow of Yarnham NG+? I constantly get ganked when I kill one (usually the mage) and the other two just constantly hit me with their long ranged attacks. Parrying their attacks gets harder as they move into new phases.

A +10 blades of Mercy has S scaling with skill and B scaling with arcane.
If you can equip an elemental gemstone, like the fire gemstone you find next to the brainsucker in lower cathedral ward, then you will be doing decent elemental damage but none of your skill investments will affect the weapon's damage.
If you're putting more arcane than skill, you're using blades of Mercy the complete opposite way it was meant to be used.

I like it better. The Nexus had a lot of walking back and forth up/down empty stairs, the hunter's dream is much more compact. It's also much more homely, the Nexus was a rather abstract structure that I personally never really warmed up to as much as others seem to have.
