Venom barely says anything to Quiet as well.
The whole point of her character, and their relationship, was communicating and showing thoughts and emotions through action, not words.
All the time they spent covering each other in battle, when Quiet jumped into the chemical pit to get that kid's toy, or even them simply glancing at each other in the ACC, was deep conversation for those two.
The story was about communication, and how metaphorically and literally words are used as weapons. Venom and Quiet's deep nonverbal dialogues showed how people could understand each other, even without words.

It is, it's legitimately one of the only vidya relationships I found admirable.
Venom and Quiet clearly love each other yet are denied a chance to express that love except rare occurrences. Their love literally blooms only on the battlefield. I felt it was honestly very well done for vidya romance.
