Big Guard trivializes everything.
Most of the fight was literally just me waiting for it to use Aqualung so I could learn it on the third Enemy Skill materia.
And while the fight can be cheesed with the water ring, I prefer to keep all three characters alive, as it gives a nice chunk of exp and AP for that point in the game.
