Well I didn't say that. My TV is better there but projectors have come a long way. You can get a lot for $600-$800 now and having a 150" screen just beats using a TV easy even with a better picture. Until 150" OLED screens that I can just mount on my wall become a thing and not for $100,000 then projectors are what I'm going to use.

Many are in the 4000-6000 hour range if you keep it in Eco mode which is plenty bright if you have a light controlled room, which you should if you're even considering a projector.
