Great thing about condemned is that it's a horror game that really just has a bunch of violent hobos in it.

I mean there's plenty of dense forrest sections, punctuated by a few village sections that still are plenty fun.
Crysis 1 also had mod support, really interesting ones were gravity boots (able to walk on ceilings and walls) also I think I saw a grapling hook mod. Made the game very interesting.
