How well will this work for GBA, N64, and SNES Emulation? All I need out of a phone is calling, texting, 4chan, web, and emulators. I hate carrying around multiple devices like a handheld and a phone, or even a phone and a bluetooth controller, so this is perfect for me. I'm on metro. For $70 is this a good buy?

I had one, and almost exclusively played N64 games on it.
It's really fucking slow. GBA/SNES and the native PSX emu work great, but it doesn't have the power for playable N64 games. I think the only thing I could run at a stable framerate was Rush 2.
Had one of these a while ago, still got it somewhere, really nice, just wish they made a newer one, would definately buy one of them, it does struggle with n64 but ps1, gba etc ran great
A friend had one and it's really uncomfortable, even worse than a psp go. As far as emulation, it runs nes, snes, gb/gba games well.

But can run well those games, at least OoT, MKart and Mario 64, thats the only I've played on android.
Gba shit runs smooth, I dont know bout Snes, assume that shit whitout specific chipsets must run well.
But kik/wa/fb chat reccent versions run on that android?

Very good buy. I used it for all that almost every day and I really miss it. It's pretty outdated but for 70 dorrah it's not bad. Not all ps1 games run well on it, even after overclocking. n64 is sort of fine I think.
I remember reading that the Xperia Play was already outdated when it came out, compared to the top performing smartphones of its year.
