My friend plays this nonstop with his subset of own friends and has tried to get me into it but I fucking hate it. What do I tell him? He's very stubborn and has poured so much time and money into it, like around 1000 hours and $200.
It's a fun game but the grind IS the game.

grind, never fix what is wrong, ignore players, make the game more grindy, introduce more and more grind, nerf EVERY way players find to reduce the grind, never fix problems (kubrows or sentinels being useless compared to the carrier), no endgame, powercreep...
The basic gameplay is so fucking good but everything surrounding it is so fucking bad. They should make a proper game already, not this korean grinding p2w garbage.

I had a lot of fun with it before I quit. Never got along super well with random/public groups after Mag's item pull got nerfed to shit, but we did alright.
If you don't play with friends, it's not going to be much fun at all.
