Games-wise, I got everything I wanted out of the Xbox One so far:
-favorite classics like Fable 2 and Gears 2
-the Witcher 3, and the Witcher 2 to be added soon

It's pretty much the first one but improved in every way, like a sequel should be. Better graphics, better tombs and puzzles. It won't convert anyone who didn't like the first but if you did like TR 2013 you'll have a great time with it.

I got an xbone as a gift. I liked sunset overdrive a lot, halo 5 was polarizing (good MP, terrible SP), Gears is the same it's always been but was fun to hop into again, Forza, while being one of the better sim racers out there, is still not my kind of game. Ori was amazing, truly a great indie game.
Everything else I own is on PC/360/PS3/Wii/Vita
I play my xbone the least out of all of them, but I play a lot of games. Its a good console. If I had a PS4 it would get even less game time considering there's only 1 game so far that I would buy for it that's exclusive.

Go for the 1tb it's a good starter size and once your library starts to expand get an external SSD.
If you get the 500gb you'll find yourself needing more space pretty fucking quickly.Also I prefer the 1tb matte finish to the 500gb's gloss.
