Commentary on the video game industry. It's one thing to do the usual networks/genres/television gags but Gex was still a video game character. I wanna see him call out all the things that went on after 1999(His last game, though the GBC came out in 2000)to the day it gets released. Sad part is, that ship already sailed. If they do a reboot, you can expect memes and a bunch of cringey jokes that end up being unfunny and charming.
I seriously expect them to fuck up Gex, and that's saying something.

Gex 1 is the only good one. Gex's transition to 3d was almost as bad as Bubsy.

Gex 3 is one of my favourite games on PS1, so I'd just want to see a continuation of the style of game the third one had: fairly creative levels based on individual themes with multiple objectives you can do on your choice, bunches of secrets to find and the same sort of dumb style of humour and atmosphere.
I figure that if it isn't broke, don't fix it, but given the standard mess reboots are, it would end up as a bland unfocussed game that tries to appeal to too many people instead of making its own identity, instead of recognising what people liked in the previous titles and building on that.
Maybe some collectibles actually worth collecting alongside those 100 Fly Coins or whatnot. Like those minikits from the LEGO games except integrated differently.
