How likely is it that this won't be another Playstation Move?
Hold on let me check my crystal ball. Anyone have any other questions about the future they want answered while I check?
In this analogy
Oculus=Xbone
PSVR=PS4
PSVR will be cheaper and more conviniate, Oculus has a bad rap already because of facebook just like the xbone did before launch and its overpriced while PSVR will sell at a loss like the PS4.

Where should I live if I don't want to die during WWIII?

Will I ever fall in love with someone?
Not very at all. Consoles lack freedom by their very definition and any new medium requires freedom to grow.

All they have to do is market it as affordable VR in comparison to the Rift and Vive, just like they marketed the PS4 as not an Xbone. Sony is dominating at the moment because every other company keeps shooting themselves in the foot.

Not a very good one
The xbone is slightly weaker than the ps4 and charged more
In this case the rift has higher res and is run by a pc. The rift can also drop in price if demand goes down.
PSVR would need to take a 60 fps game, render it twice meaning it gets downgraded further so that both renders are at 30 fps. Given its cpu this is going to be a kick in the nuts for its visuals. Once both renders are at 60 fps, the box interpolates 60 more frames which might result in a worse or subpar vr experience. If interpolation was the end all solution all vrs would be using it to make up for the full 60 frames and not just slight drops.
So what kind of ganes can we expect on PSVR? Short linear niche experiences and not any huge sandbox games with realistic visuals. Dunno many people who would dump 400-500 for that given normies want the latest games pushing sub 20 fps. Well it's not like I'm hoping it fails but that kind of vr is not ideal. There is also no porn allowed.
Either way if vr takes off the rift won't be the only vr in town. As with mouses and controllers/other peripherals, if vr takes off there will be many choices. Probably a year from now.
