Hey /v/. Can you help me out? I'm looking for a game I used to play as a kid on my PC.
I remember you played as a giant mech who walked around citys shooting missiles and bullets at other mechs, some being spiders and weird stuff, sometimes you'd be in the sewers and there were bosses and stuff, like a dark adventure game.

Please help!!

Shogo?

This is what came to mind too, did it have balls hard on-foot segments?
>>
>>322992265
Kind of. You had on foot and mech sequences. And the final boss has a stupid huge gun.
>>
>>322991868
No. It was third person. And the mech had a slender figure compared to most mech games.

Since this is one of these threads.

When I was a kid I had an Amiga 500, and I had a stack of games on floppy discs. I've tracked down most of the games like Barbarian 2 and Rolling Thunder.

But there were two other games that I really enjoyed that I can't seem to find.

One was set in some kind of post apocalyptic world, and it had to main ways to play. You were either driving this battle car thing around the over world, and I remember something about spiked tires and other cars trying to blow you up. You could also go inside buildings though, and I distinctly remember having to avoid green slime, and I think you could shoot people too.

The other game is some sidescroller where you played as a wizard, but i think there were 2 or 3 options for characters and I just always chose the wizard. I remember it being really hard, and I mostly remember a lush green graveyard type level, I can't imagine I got very far though so thats probably just the first zone.

Was it Autoduel?

I don't think that was it unfortunately. I remember it being less of an RPG, and a little more 'realistic' in style.

I need help as well.
I had this old PC adventure game as a kid that I forgot the name of. It was all pixelated and it was about this witch who comes and turns everything in your town upside down literally, like trees and rocks and houses and shit, and you played as this little boy who had to go find/free this wizard to come back and turn everything right side up again and banish the witch.
Please help, I've looked all over and can't find it or any mention of the name and it's driving me nuts, does anyone know what it was called?

I wish this wasn't true. I wanted to believe i could be one of those people who can just go back and play a really old game and still enjoy it, but i just can't. They really do bother me when i try.

I'm trying to play KOTR2 right now since i never played it and people say it was great. But holy fuck it's so hard to stick through it. It's so outdated it bores me to shit, the combat is so bad, everything is so slow paced, and there's no real indicator of where the fuck you're supposed to go. I'm so used to a game saying "can you go talk to this guy for me? he's in the medical room on the second floor, you'll need to take the elevator" or something similar that when i try and play this old game and i get a quest to go talk to someone, i'm just frustrated and having no fucking clue as to where on this huge space station i should even head.
