When you "invest" with Fig you're getting a terrible return on investment and the game has to beat reasonable expectations before you even break even.

Look at it this way: 3.3 Adventure had 87000 backers.
This one had 20000, backing their single biggest, most popular game's sequel.
That's one hell of a decline, for the thing most people were hoping for when they donated for 3.3 Adventure to begin with.
