Renting was a big thing for me, as well as the Sega Channel (A service I still think was far better then a lot of shit we have now).

PS3/XBOX360 are both 2+ times the processing speed of Wii.
So it wasn't that Nintendo was behind, it was that Sony/Microsoft actually skipped a generation.

Maybe its because my family was really poor in europe and we couldn't afford videogames, so when we came to america in 2000's we walked down to the local store and checked out the games and stuff, my mother and father always bought me something.
Its probably this massive nostalgia of possibly the first happy memories I've had in my life, but every time I see photos of Circuit City stores my chest tightens up and I feel genuinely sad its gone.
