Most RPGs only have 1 or 2 superbosses, XBCX has over 50 (much like an MMO). Most RPGs don't require over 50 hours of playtime to 100%, XBCX requires over 200 (much like an MMO).
Also you don't know what horizontal story telling means, as the vast majority of RPGs use vertial story telling. Horizontal story telling is almost exclusive to MMOs. And world building is pretty much only exclusive to MMOs too.

Consoles unfortunately lost that major advantage last gen. With all the installations, patches, updates, scarce offers on DLCs, general unoptimizations, faulty hardware, paid online etc. etc. It's no longer "plug and play" your favorite vidya; it's just buying overpriced shitty PCs with no advantages of one.
Very few reasons to own a console these days, especially "next gen" one. Maybe for three of if you're lucky four exclusive games that you really really want, otherwise it just seems like a waste in literally every other aspect.
