Fucking love it played the shit out of the 2nd game
it's basically musou with gun
repetitive and boring especially for someone who never enjoys shooters. Had to watch my friend group play it for like two months straight and suffered silently anytime we did anything multiplayer. People say any multiplayer game with friends is good, I would disagree.

It would be an amazing must have if:
1. The devs put more effort into the art.
2. The good games weren't stuck on consoles.
I never beg for games from consoles because pcfags have enough games, but this is one series I want on pc alongside consoles.
The good games. If the devs can't put forth any effort to making the game not look like a ps2 game, at least make it moddable.
Imagine a completely moddable EDF game that isn't shit on steam with full workshop support.

There is one effect I actually do like which is that the frames of animation of distant enemies sometimes get cut down. Reminds me of stop-motion in a good way.

Is mission 67 as good as it looks? An entire battle field of Balaams and the kaiju dudes look amazing.
I always thought Global defense force was slightly better than edf 2017 tho, only because wing diver was an option and the robots where actually more menacing.

PS4 powers this game nicely so far. It does chug occasionally. (Like when an entire city is leveled in one shot.) Leagues better than on PS3.
